Apartment prices in Vilnius increased by 0.2% to 1,329 EUR/sqm in January 2016. During a year apartment prices in Vilnius increased by 3.9% and since the last lowest price level in May 2010, apartment prices are higher by 15.1% (by 175 EUR/sqm). In January 2016, the number of apartment transactions in Vilnius (698 transactions) increased by 39% compared with January 2015.
In January 2016 apartment prices in Riga increased by 0.4% to the average price of 1,061 EUR/sqm. Over the past 12 months, the average apartment price has increased 0.7% (in December 2015, the annual increase of apartment prices was 0.4%). In total there were 670 apartment transactions in January 2016 in Riga, which is 37% more than in January 2015.
The average apartment price in Tallinn decreased by 1.2% to 1,537 EUR/sqm in January 2016, which means that annual decrease is 1.6%. In total there were 549 apartment transactions in January 2016 in Tallinn, which is 3% more than in January 2015.
